Macadamia/Coconut Butter
2 cups unsalted raw macadamia nuts 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil 1 Tbsp Coconut Manna
Grind room temperature macadamia nuts in a food processor until a corse grind. Add softened coconut oil and manna. Pure until smooth. You may need to stop and scrape the sides.
Store in an airtight container. I use wide mouth mason jars. Add this nutrient dense decadent treat to a tart apple, carrot, celery or smoothies for a creamy richness.
You can add a pinch of salt, cinnamon and nutmeg for an interesting flavor. I have made a chocolate version with unsweetened cocoa powder.
This is a super easy and cost effective way to make an energy dense snack for your active kiddos.
