Got Questions?
We've got the answers!
Q:
Will I lose weight in your program?
A:
Your body will shed weight when it is in a place of safety and not feeling stressed. Weight loss is not the main focus of this program, but it is always a really nice side effect.
Q:
Will I have to track my macros?
A:
I am not a macro coach, but we may initially use macro tracking to make sure you are eating enough, which is WAY more common that eating too much.
Q:
Will I have to cook two meals for my family, one for me and one for everyone else?
A:
That depends on whether you want to include your family in your journey. If your food sensitivities come back with the common foods that you avoided for a period of time, there is no reason to include your family in that practice. The benefit of working with a mom who is doing this everyday is to glean strategies on how to make this a sustainable system for you!
Q:
I have a really hard time following through on programs, will you keep me accountable?
A:
I am a coach first, which means that I will support you through every step of this process. I will pull you back in if you step away, but I will not chase you as that does not serve your outcome. My goal for you is to develop a sustainable system where you make lifelong habits based on the individual principles that I share with you.
Q:
I have diastasis and pelvic floor issues, can I do your workouts?
A:
Yes! The goal of all my programs is to get you stronger while also improving core and pelvic floor integration. I always recommend seeing a pelvic health physical therapist if you desire to have additional support in this area.
Q:
I am not exercising right now, how intense is the exercise?
A:
The exercise is tailored to your starting point, and is done in one-on-one coaching sessions. The “Total Body Core and More” program can be scaled up or down depending on your capacity. You will also have recommendations about intensity based on minerals, adrenals and microbiome.
Q:
Is the food sensitivity testing valid?
A:
Yes, Vibrant America is the lab that I use for food sensitivity testing. We will use both whole food protein testing and peptide level testing. The whole food protein assesses the water soluble portion of the protein, and peptide level testing assesses the smallest component of protein. Both assessments test for IgG and IgA reactivity.
Q:
Do I have to take supplements forever?
A:
Supplements are recommended to support your body. Some clients prefer to stay on fundamental supplements like probiotics, digestive support, minerals and adaptogens long term, but the choice is always yours, and you will have a solid game plan on how to transition after you complete your program.
Q:
How often will I see you?
A:
In the top package, I am with you live one day per week, and in the app daily. In the next level package, I am with you live twice per month and in the app weekly. We have a lot of contact and I am very accessible through chat. You are my top priority.
Q:
How quickly will I see results?
A:
Every woman is different and the short answer is…it depends. Variables such as current stressors, past stressors, and how quickly and consistently you are able to implement the lifestyle and nutrition changes will all affect how quickly you will start seeing results. Those who really put their energy into following their custom plan often see results in how their gut feels in as little as 2 weeks, an increase in depth of sleep and energy within a month, and changes in body composition within 2 months. But remember…this is about the long game not short term solutions.
