Kombucha Jello

Kombucha Jello

IMG_0495
  1. 2 cups Kombucha (room temperature)

  2. 1-2 TBSP gelatin

  3. 1 TBSP potato starch (optional)

  4. 1 or more tsp cinnamon (optional)

Use 2 cups of home brewed or store bought Kombucha. It should be at room temperature otherwise the gelatin will clump. Pour 2 cups of kombucha into a 16 ounce mason jar. Mix in 1 TBSP potato starch (optional) and cinnamon to taste. Slowly add in 1-2 TBSP gelatin while stirring vigorously with a fork. More gelatin will give you a thicker jello.

The potato starch is a form of resistant starch that helps feed your beneficial bacteria.

My kids love the jello. I usually eat 4-6 ounces at a time mixed with some raw milk yogurt. I make five jars at once and store them in the fridge for a quick add on to my breakfast.
