Well, I am still here laying in bed with intermittent walking trips around the house. There has NEVER, including through both twin pregnancies, been a time when I have laid around as much as I have in the last 3 1/2 days!! The most difficult thing for me is watching my husband have to do all of the work and mind the kids.
Today, I started to feel the tightness in my lower back from being bent over so much. The Hypervolt helps a lot with that! I am also having a difficult time taking a breath because my lungs really don’t have anywhere to expand. According to my surgeon, this is completely normal!
I am trying to keep up with my meals, I am hungry, but I have zero appetites! That does not really make sense, but that’s where I am. I am not sure if it is the pain, lack of movement, or a combo.
I am grateful the outcome will be good, this is not a permanent condition and I am confident in the process!
Here is where I am at right now:
Day 4 Movement Description
Day 4 Movement Piece–Ok, so this is me in the raw form! 🙂
I am focusing on these three movement components:
Breath matrix: 5 seconds in/5 seconds out x 3 per head position
2. Isometric contraction to pump blood to the tissue and encourage the healing process: Holds starting at 5 sec and progress until the pain stops.
3. Step matrix: 5 per side per direction.
You can view more about the breath and step matrix here.
